The Florida Panthers dropped their home ice advantage Tuesday night with a 4-1 loss at home to the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1 of a second round series.
Florida struck first with a goal from Anthony Duclair in the first period, but the second and third periods belonged to the Lightning. Corey Perry scored on a power play in the second period when a Nikita Kucherov deke set up an easy finish to tie the game, 1-1.

Then Pierre-Éduoard Bellemare gave the Lightning the lead early in the third period when he got the rebound of a Perry shot and buried a shot of his own.

Tampa Bay appeared to tie the game back up later in the third period, but the Panthers successfully challenged that the puck should've been dead earlier after bouncing off the netting above the boards.
The Panthers then put the game out of reach with a pair of power play goals in the final five minutes of the third period.
