Rookie wide receiver Malik Heath from Mississippi had long-shot odds to make the Green Bay Packers entering camp as an undrafted free agent.
The 6-foot-2, 213-pound wideout impressed during the preseason, though, and Green Bay rewarded him with a spot on the initial 53-man roster.
And of course, being a young athlete at 23 years old, how did the rookie celebrate? He turned to the widely popular video game franchise "Madden" and balled out as himself.
"In my mind, I'm still like I'm dreaming or something. Because I'm actually on the team and I'm on the 53 and I'm on Madden and stuff like that," Heath told the Packers website. "I just played Madden last night and I'm throwing myself nothing but go balls. Like I'm still in the movie right now. I'm still dreaming right now. I can't wake up. That first game I'm gonna wake up, though, for sure. I'm still soaking everything in."
Heath is right, the first game will come as a bit of a shock. From catching 60 passes for 971 yards and five touchdowns last season for Ole Miss to fighting for a roster spot in the NFL, he'll now be fighting for playing time on a young Packers roster chock-full of talent at wide receiver.
Second-year wideouts Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs will be Jordan Love's primary targets in 2023, while fellow rookies, wideout Jayden Reed and tight end Luke Musgrave, figure to be big parts of the offense.
Still, proved during the preseason that he can step up when needed. He led Green Bay in receptions this preseason with 12. He turned that into 146 yards.
That included this beauty of a catch.

Since trading Aaron Rodgers and entering the Love-era of Green Bay football, the Packers have clearly put a premium on athleticism, youth and upside.
Check, check, check for Heath -- now a member of the 53.
