Bulls' Andre Drummond Believes He's a Hall of Fame-Caliber Player
Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

Andre Drummond was a nice addition to the Chicago Bulls bench last year. He averaged 6.0 points and 6.6 rebounds despite seeing a career-low 12.7 minutes per game. While teams are a month out from the start of training camp, Drummond made an appearance on "The Comfortable Podcast," during which he claimed that he is a potential Hall of Famer.

Across parts of eight seasons with the Detroit Pistons to begin his career, Drummond was one of the best rebounders in the league. In his last three years with Detroit, he pulled down over 15 boards per game. As Drummond referenced in the interview, he's No. 1 all-time in rebounding percentage.

While the veteran center sits atop that category, many NBA fans believe he lacks in other areas. Drummond's list of accolades includes four seasons as the top rebounder, two All-Star nods, one All-NBA selection, and All-Rookie honors. The 30-year-old is entitled to his opinion that he's had a Hall of Fame-caliber career, but many fans won't agree with him.

Looking at the bigger picture, a good benchmark could be former Bull Joakim Noah. Most Bulls fans believe Noah's jersey should be retired and he should at least be mentioned in the Basketball Hall of Fame debate.

While Noah was never a top rebounder, his game was sound in several areas, most notably on the defensive end of the court. Noah finished fourth in MVP voting in 2013-14, was NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2014, earned two All-Star nods, made three All-Defensive teams, and garnered All-NBA honors once. Additionally, Noah has a college resume that includes two NCAA titles, a 2006 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player award, and a consensus All-American selection.

If Noah doesn't get in, Drummond won't get in.
